Peace flows into me
Für dieses Stück aus dem Jahre 2014 habe ich ein Gedicht von Sara Teasdale benutzt, einer amerikanischen Dichterin vom Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts. Ich habe bereits viele ihrer Texte vertont.
Das Stück ist kurz, aber sehr wirkungsvoll, einfach zu lernen und zum Beispiel sehr gut als Zugabe geeignet.

Peace flows into me
as the tide to the pool by the shore;
it is mine forever more
it ebbs not back like the sea.
Peace is in my heart,
it ebbs not back like the sea.
I am the pool of blue
that worships the vivid sky;
my hopes were heaven high,
they are all fulfilled in you.
I am the pool of gold
when sunset burns a dies;
you are my deep´ning skies,
give me your stars to hold.
Peace flows into me
as the tide to the pool by the shore;
it is mine forever more,
peace is in my heart.
